Mary Maingi is a Kenyan politician who made history as the first female Member of Parliament for Mwea Constituency in Kirinyaga County, winning the seat in the August 2022 general election on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket after defeating six other candidates. She is the only woman among Kirinyaga County's four elected constituency Members of Parliament.
