Oburu Ng'ong'a Oginga is a Kenyan politician who has represented Siaya County in the Senate since 8 August 2022 as a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). Earlier in his career he represented Bondo Constituency in the National Assembly under the National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) in the 9th Parliament, and was later a nominated Member of Parliament for ODM in the 11th Parliament. He served as Assistant Minister for Finance in the 2008 Grand Coalition Government, and between 2017 and 2022 he was a member of the East African Legislative Assembly, giving him experience at the national, regional, and East African Community levels of representation before his election to the Senate.
